Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The company has reported 5.89% jump in its net profit at Rs 115.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 109.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company decreased by 4.34% at Rs 6782.08 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 7089.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

BHEL is India’s largest engineering and manufacturing company of its kind. It is a power plant equipment manufacturer and operates as an engineering and manufacturing company.
