Arvind has received an approval for the demerger, transfer and vesting of the Branded Apparel Undertaking from Arvind to Arvind Fashions and the Engineering Undertaking from Arvind to Anveshan Heavy Engineering on a going concern basis, and the consequent issue of shares by the Arvind Fashions and Anveshan in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act. The board of directors of the company on recommendation of the Audit Committee at its meeting held on November 8, 2017 has approved for the same.
Arvind is India’s largest integrated textile player and is one of the oldest and most respected groups in the Textile Business in India. The company is also one of the largest producers of denim fabrics and is supplier to a large number of fashion brands in the world.
