Raymond shines on planning to double turnover of FMCG business in 3-4 years

Raymond is currently trading at Rs. 964.85, up by 23.25 points or 2.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 941.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 953.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 968.00 and Rs. 946.35 respectively. So far 46914 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1003.90 on 07-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 457.50 on 27-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 968.00 and Rs. 915.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5917.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.36%, while institutions and non-institutions held 29.61% and 27.03% respectively.

Raymond is planning to double turnover of its FMCG business to Rs 1000 crore over the next three-four years. Currently, the combined FMCG revenue between the two companies is Rs 500 crore.

The company had formed its FMCG Group in 2016 and its products reach 25 lakh retailer, including 90,000 pharmacies and also exports to Southeast Asia, West Asia and Africa.

The Raymond group had recently acquired Ansell’s stake in the sexual wellness and personal care brand KamaSutra, from joint venture entity JK Ansell and expects to get regulatory approvals shortly.

Raymond is one of India’s largest branded fabric and fashion retailers. It is one of the leading, integrated producers of suiting fabric in the world.
