Schaeffler trades higher on the BSE

Schaeffler India is currently trading at Rs. 5274.25, up by 18.85 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 5255.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5299.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5311.65 and Rs. 5265.00 respectively. So far 71 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5311.65 on 28-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3780.00 on 29-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5311.65 and Rs. 5122.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8773.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.33%, while institutions and non-institutions held 32.00% and 16.68% respectively.

Schaeffler is planning to invest Rs 200 crore to set up a manufacturing unit at Talegaon, Pune, along with a new research and development unit. The new production facility of the company’s arm NA Bearings will manufacture engine and transmission components, serving domestic and exports markets.

The R&D facility will focus on enhancing product development and engineering capabilities driving innovation for customers. This new facility will help the company add capacity and enhance product portfolio to serve our customer needs of future.
