PFC rises on its arm inking MoU with Tata Power Delhi Distribution

Power Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 121.40, up by 1.45 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 119.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 119.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 121.80 and Rs. 119.75 respectively. So far 42346 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 169.00 on 11-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 112.75 on 18-Dec-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 123.25 and Rs. 119.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32037.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.35%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.97% and 5.69% respectively.

Power Finance Corporation’s (PFC) arm - PFC Consulting (PFCCL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL) for jointly exploring opportunities in electricity distribution sector in the country.

As per the MoU, the opportunities shall include various distribution projects, Network Strengthening, Electrical Mobility, Smart Grid, Smart Metering, Distributed Energy Resources, Energy storage, Trainings etc. or any other distribution scheme of Ministry of Power.

PFC provides large range of financial products and services like project term loan, lease financing, direct discounting of bills, short term loan, and consultancy services for various power projects in generation, transmission, distribution sector as well as for renovation and modernization of existing power projects.
