Rolta India trades jubilantly on redeeming outstanding FCCBs worth $134.7 million

Rolta India is currently trading at Rs. 79.15, up by 3.35 points or 4.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 77.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 79.85 and Rs. 76.30 respectively. So far 386561 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 134.75 on 05-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.15 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 79.85 and Rs. 72.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1271.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.87% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.86% and 23.25% respectively.

Rolta India has redeemed the outstanding Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), aggregating $134.7 million including redemption premium of $38 Million on the due date. After this redemption there are no FCCB's outstanding. The Company had made the payment to Principal Agent of FCCBs - Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch on Jun 28, 2012.

Further, the paid up capital of the Company will remain unchanged post redemption of these FCCBs. Accordingly, company will not be required to allot 16,578,519 equity shares of Rs, 10 each which otherwise could have arisen out of the potential conversion of the said FCCBs.
