Bank of Maharashtra slips on reporting net loss of Rs 596.70 crore in Q3

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 19.00, down by 0.10 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 19.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 19.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 19.45 and Rs. 18.90 respectively. So far 86,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 40.70 on 04-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.65 on 06-Feb-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 20.45 and Rs. 18.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,614.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.22% and 5.24% respectively.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 596.70 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2017 as against net loss of Rs 182.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 13.80% at Rs 2994.55 crore for Q3FY18 as compared Rs 3473.77 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 19.05%, as compared to 15.08% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 12.17% in Q3FY18.
