Ashok Leyland reports 29% growth in February sales

Ashok Leyland has reported a jump of 29% in February 2018 sales to 18,181 units, as against 14,067 units sold in the same month of last year. The company reported a rise of 21% in its medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) products segment to 13,726 units in February 2018, as compared to 11,329 units in February 2017.

The light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment of the company registered sales of 4,455 units in February 2018, a jump of 63% as compared to 2,738 units sold in February 2017.

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
