Goa Carbon has temporarily shut down operations at Paradeep Unit located at Vill. Udayabata, District Jagatsinghpur, Orissa for regular maintenance work from March 15, 2018. There would not be any material financial impact due to the temporary shut-down of the company's Paradeep Unit on account of sufficient inventory of finished material.
Goa Carbon is a public limited company and is in the business of manufacture and marketing of Calcined Petroleum Coke. The company is a regular supplier to aluminium smelters, graphite electrode and Titanium Dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the matallurgical and chemical industries.
