ICICI Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The Bank has reported a fall of 49.62% in its net profit at Rs 1,020 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 2,024.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank has increased by 20.24% at Rs 19,942.97 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 16,585.76 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
On consolidated basis, the Bank has reported a fall of 45.17% in its net profit at Rs 1,141.93 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 2,082.75 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. However, total income of the Bank rose 18.03% at Rs 33,760.07 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 28,603.29 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the Bank has posted a fall of 30.85% in its net profit at Rs 6,777.42 crore as compared to Rs 9,801.09 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the Bank marginally decreased 1.73% at Rs 72,385.52 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 73,660.76 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the Bank has posted fall of 24.30% in its net profit at Rs 7,712.19 crore as compared to Rs 10,188.38 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank has marginally increased by 4.91% at Rs 1,18,969.10 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,13,397.63 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
