Indian Metals trades in green on the bourses

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) is currently trading at Rs. 368.25, up by 0.60 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 367.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 368.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 383.90 and Rs. 358.55 respectively. So far 31442 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 794.80 on 23-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 358.55 on 22-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 457.45 and Rs. 358.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 992.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.69%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.84% and 37.48% respectively.

Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys has shut down its furnace as after switching on TCP-3 at Therubali and while load was gradually being increased there was a shell puncture on May 17. The furnace will be out of commission for approximately 90 days for digging out, shell replacement and relining. This has occurred due to the unplanned long shutdown without necessary precautions following a sudden agitation by outsiders.

IMFA is a producer of ferro chrome/ferro alloys. The company operates through two segments - Ferro Alloys and Power.
