Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.  

The company has reported a rise of over 2 fold in its net profit at Rs 457.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 215.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally decreased by 1.29% at Rs 10,341.58 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 10,476.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 62.67% in its net profit at Rs 806.60 crore as compared to Rs 495.86 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company marginally decreased 2.34% at Rs 29,754.03 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 30,465.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2017.
