ITC is planning to add 2,500 rooms to its hotel segment to take the total count to 12,000 rooms in the next five years from the current count of 9,500 rooms. Besides, the company has appointed a committee internally to examine the possibility of foraying into the healthcare space.
ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
