ING Vysya Bank reports 38.40% jump in Q1 net

ING Vysya Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the bank has posted a rise of 38.40% in its net profit at Rs 130.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 94.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income has increased by 32.74% at Rs 1342.36 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1011.29 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) declined to 1.97% in the April-June quarter as against 2.15% in the same quarter previous year while net NPAs decreased to 0.19%.
