Asian Tea & Exports has acquired 50.16% shares of Asian Tea Company at a price consideration of about Rs 1.12 crore. Pursuant to the acquisition, Asian Tea Company shall be treated as subsidiary of the company.
Asian Tea & Exports is engaged in producing and exporting tea. The company manufactures three types of teas such as Black Tea, Green Tea and Oolong Tea. Company offers teas from different tea growing regions of India such as Assam, Darjeeling and Nilgiris and other countries namely Sri Lanka, Kenya, Indonesia and Vietnam. The company markets its products under the brand name “FOUR SEASONS”.
