Oriental Bank trades in green on the BSE

Oriental Bank of Commerce is currently trading at Rs. 66.60, up by 4.30 points or 6.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 62.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 61.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 67.25 and Rs. 61.25 respectively. So far 1276620 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 159.75 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.10 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 67.25 and Rs. 60.00 respectively. The current market cap of the Bank is Rs. 4201.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the Bank stood at 77.23%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.80% and 6.97% respectively.

Oriental Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 101.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 1,749.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank decreased by 10.04% at Rs 4,967.29 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 5,521.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 17.24%, as compared to 16.30% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 10.07% in Q2FY19.
