Nava Bharat Ventures soars on signing contracts with Tata Power Trading

Nava Bharat Ventures is currently trading at Rs. 122.00, up by 1.75 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 120.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 122.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 125.25 and Rs. 121.50 respectively. So far 5656 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 184.20 on 15-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 108.10 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 127.65 and Rs. 119.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2184.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.53%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.52% and 34.95% respectively.

Nava Bharat Ventures and its subsidiary -- Nava Bharat Energy (India) -- have signed contracts with Tata Power Trading for power supply of 25 MW and 100 MW respectively to Telangana State Grid.

The contracts commence from January 15, 2019 to April 30, 2019 and are at a net price of Rs 5.75 per unit.

Nava Bharat Ventures operates in the business verticals of power generation, mining, ferro alloys and agri-business with multi-national operations spread over India, South East Asia and Africa.
