Arvind launches garmenting hub in Gujarat: Report

Arvind has reportedly launched its largest garmenting hub in Bavla, Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. The company has invested Rs 350 crore and will be aiming to generate additional revenues of Rs 1,000 crore.

The company has set up 2 manufacturing facilities and a third facility will commence operations over the next few weeks. The company’s current garment operation capacity will be increased by 3 million garments per month. These garmenting facilities will employ 12000 people as operations reach optimal capacity.

Arvind is India’s largest integrated textile player and is one of the oldest and most respected groups in the Textile Business in India. The company is also one of the largest producers of denim fabrics and is supplier to a large number of fashion brands in the world.
