Prakash Wollen & Synthetic Mills has informed that the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) vide its Appellate Order u/s 250(6) of Income Tax Act, 1961 dated November 27, 2018 received by the company on December 5, 2018, demand amounting to Rs 9.40 crores on the company (Demand by Income Tax Department) for the Assessment Year 2013-14 has been deleted. However, Income Tax Authority have right to file an appeal against the said order.
