Karur Vysya Bank has informed that the bank has necessary approvals from the Board of Directors and Shareholders to borrow / raise funds in Indian / foreign currency by issue of debt securities including but not limited to long term Bonds, non-convertible debentures, Basel lll compliant Tier I and Tier ll bonds or such other debt securities as may be permitted under the RBI guidelines, upto Rs 1,200 crore by the bank, in one or more tranches on private placement basis from time to time. A meeting of the Capital Raising Committee ('CRC’) of the Board will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 to consider the terms & conditions of issue of the debt securities on private placement basis.
