Karda Constructions rises on planning to raise funds via NCDs

Karda Constructions is currently trading at Rs. 204.00, up by 1.40 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 202.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 202.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 204.55 and Rs. 201.15 respectively. So far 496 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 236.85 on 18-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 124.35 on 26-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 212.50 and Rs. 201.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 251.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.12% and 33.83% respectively.

Karda Constructions is planning to raise funds by way of issue of Debt Security in the form of Non-convertible Debenture (NCDs) on private placement basis. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on January 24, 2019, to consider the same.

Karda Constructions is primarily in construction of residential projects and recently they have been innovative in their approach to push the affordable housing segment by coming up with schemes such as ‘Capsule Homes’.
