McLeod Russel has signed an Agreement on March 30, 2019 for sale of Estates & Bearer Plants and Specified Assets comprised in Bargang Tea Estate with Amgoorie India (Purchaser), on completion of due diligence process carried out by the Purchaser, and on signing of the aforesaid Agreement, the company has handed over the possession of the said assets to the Purchaser. The transfer of land is subject to the approval of the Competent Authority of the Government of Assam.
McLeod Russel India is a holding company. The company is engaged in manufacturing of tea in India.
