Bank of Maharashtra slips despite turning black in Q4

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 18.20, down by 1.10 points or 5.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 19.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 19.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 20.00 and Rs. 17.67 respectively. So far 1143020 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 19.55 on 26-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.73 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 19.55 and Rs. 15.33 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5232.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 87.74%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.63% and 3.63% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra has reported a net profit at Rs 72.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 against net loss of Rs 113.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased marginally by 2.14% at Rs 3,160.79 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3094.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the bank has posted a net loss of Rs 4,783.88 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 1,145.65 crore for the previous year. Total income of bank decreased marginally by 1.63% at Rs 12,397.06 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12,602.47 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
