DCB Bank falls despite reporting 17% rise in Q1 net profit

DCB Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2019.

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 211.65, down by 27.15 points or 11.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 238.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 222.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 222.00 and Rs. 205.30 respectively. So far 484038 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 244.60 on 25-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 139.50 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 244.05 and Rs. 205.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6564.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.89% and 33.20% respectively.

The Bank has reported 16.63% rise in its net profit at Rs 81.06 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 69.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 20.43% at Rs 944.46 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 784.26 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.96%, as compared to 1.86% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.81% in Q1FY20.
