Syndicate Bank declines on reporting net loss of Rs 980 crore in Q1

Syndicate Bank is currently trading at Rs. 34.70, down by 0.85 points or 2.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 35.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 34.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 35.00 and Rs. 33.30 respectively. So far 69313 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 46.60 on 02-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.55 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 38.85 and Rs. 35.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9352.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 78.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.01% and 11.51% respectively.

Syndicate Bank has reported net loss of Rs 980.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to net loss of Rs 1,281.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 7.86% at Rs 6,080.69 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 5637.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 980.39 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 1,281.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 7.86% at Rs 6,080.69 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 5637.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
