Bank of Maharashtra gains on turning black in Q1

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 14.60, up by 0.10 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.90 and Rs. 14.10 respectively. So far 216242 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 20.00 on 30-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.73 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 14.95 and Rs. 14.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8328.48 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 92.49%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.09% and 3.42% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra has reported a net profit of Rs 81.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 against net loss of Rs 1,119.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 6.86% at Rs 3,191.88 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 2,987.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the Bank has reported net profit of Rs 89.11 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 against net loss of Rs 1,107.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 6.72% at Rs 3,200.04 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 2,998.47 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
