BHEL soars on commissioning one more unit of Kaleshwaram LIS Package-6 in Telangana

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 57.10, up by 0.55 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.50 and Rs. 54.65 respectively. So far 332994 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 83.25 on 07-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 54.65 on 05-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 61.10 and Rs. 54.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 19534.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.95% and 5.88% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has successfully commissioned one more pumping unit (Unit 5) of 116 MW of the 7x116 MW Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) Package-6 in Telangana. The company has earlier commissioned 4 Units of the same project in April and May, 2019. Significantly, the pump for each unit is designed to lift 89.16 cumecs (cubic metres per second) of water by 105.5 metres.
