Bharat Seats has received approval for closing trim plant of the company situated at Plot No.677, Sector 37, Pace City II, Gurugram in the state of Haryana. The estimated date of closure is November, 2019. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on September 19, 2019, approved the same.
The business activities of this unit are being reallocated to the existing units in Gurugram as well as upcoming Gujarat Unit.
Bharat Seats is in the business of manufacturing complete seating systems and interior components for the automotive and surface transport. The company also operates research & development centre which handles projects from the concept stage through modelling, designing prototyping to testing and validation for the final product.
