Ashok Leyland has reported a fall of 55% in September 2019 sales (Domestic + Exports) to 8780 units, as against 19,374 units sold in the same month of last year. The company reported a decline of 67% in its medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) products segment to 4744 units in September 2019, as compared to 14,233 units sold in September 2018.
The light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment of the company registered sales of 4036 units in September 2019, a fall of 21%, as compared to 5141 units sold in September 2018.
