Indsil Hydro Power strengthens on getting nod for extension of preference shares redemption

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese is currently trading at Rs. 39.40, up by 5.20 points or 15.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 34.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 38.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.85 and Rs. 34.00 respectively. So far 3162 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.85 on 14-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.00 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.85 and Rs. 30.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 101.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.49%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.97% and 32.55% respectively.

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese has received approval for the extension of the period of redemption (roll-over) of 1,50,00,000 10% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares subject to requisite approvals for a further period of 3 years from October 19, 2019 to October 18, 2022 with the option to redeem the preference shares at par at any time at the option of the Company before the due date of redemption.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 28, 2019 has approved the same.

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese is engaged in the generation of electricity from its captive hydroelectric power plant in Kerala, India. The company also involves in ferro alloy smelting.
