Satin Creditcare Network gains on receiving ECB funding of $15 million from OeEB

Satin Creditcare Network is currently trading at Rs. 226.65, up by 0.75 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 225.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 227.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 228.45 and Rs. 222.20 respectively. So far 622 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 398.00 on 04-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.90 on 19-Dec-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 232.15 and Rs. 195.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1179.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 29.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.69% and 30.61% respectively.

Satin Creditcare Network (SCNL) has received external commercial borrowing (ECB) funding of $15 million (around Rs 107.2 crore) from Development Bank of Austria (OeEB), to accelerate its lending portfolio. The investment will support Satin Creditcare Network in its planned expansion, portfolio growth and its efforts in increasing financial inclusion through its operations in 22 states.

This will be the third round of external commercial borrowing funding by a foreign institution in SCNL. The first ECB investment in SCNL was by World Business Capital and second investment was by responsAbility Investment.

Satin Creditcare Network is one of the largest Microfinance Institutions (MFI) in Northern India, and is the 3rd largest MFI in the country.
