DCB Bank surges on reporting 12% rise in Q3 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 184.50, up by 2.65 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 181.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 179.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 184.70 and Rs. 177.35 respectively. So far 39755 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 244.60 on 25-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 164.95 on 20-Dec-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 203.10 and Rs. 176.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5718.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.40% and 27.70% respectively.

DCB Bank has reported 12.31% rise in its net profit at Rs 96.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 86.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 13.66% at Rs 990.89 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 871.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 2.15%, as compared to 1.92% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.03% in Q3FY20.
