Bank of Baroda declines on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 1,219 crore in Q3

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 92.65, down by 2.95 points or 3.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 95.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.80 and Rs. 92.00 respectively. So far 956313 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 143.60 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 85.70 on 07-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 98.30 and Rs. 92.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42901.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.69% and 9.72% respectively.

Bank of Baroda has reported a net loss of Rs 1406.95 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2019 as against net profit of Rs 471.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 49.76% at Rs 21809.08 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 14562.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a net loss of Rs 1219.04 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 660.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 46.88% at Rs 23134.67 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 15751.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
