BHEL declines on reporting 17% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) currently trading at Rs. 36.50, down by -2.05 points or -5.32 % from its previous closing of Rs. 38.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 37.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 38.15 and Rs. 36.00 respectively. So far 1144618 shares were traded on the counter.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 17.21% in its net profit attributed to the equity holders at Rs 162.67 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 196.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 22.95% at Rs 5,827.74 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 7,563.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
