OK Play India has received approval for slump sale of its automotive component business and automotive component business of its wholly owned subsidiary -- OK Play Auto to Lumax Auto Technologies. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on February 24, 2020, approved the same.

OK Play India was initially incorporated under the name of Aquapure Containers Ltd. in 1988 to manufacture Water Storage Tanks. In 1992 the company acquired a British toy manufacturing company by the name of OK PLAY.
