RBL Bank reports fall of 50% in Q4 consolidated net profit

RBL Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The Bank has reported a fall of 53.73% in its net profit at Rs 114.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 247.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 20.75% at Rs 2708.77 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 2243.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a fall of 49.59% in its net profit at Rs 114.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 227.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 24.03% at Rs 2782.77 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 2243.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the bank has reported a fall of 41.67% in its net profit at Rs 505.67 crore as compared to Rs 866.95 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 34.63% at Rs 10424.63 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7743.08 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a fall of 41.69% in its net profit at Rs 500.18 crore as compared to Rs 857.83 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 38.15% at Rs 10696.69 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7743.06 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
