Bandhan Bank tumbles on reporting fall of 21% in Q4 net profit

Bandhan Bank is currently trading at Rs. 250.05, down by 2.25 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 252.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 248.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 252.95 and Rs. 243.00 respectively. So far 192706 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 650.00 on 29-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 152.35 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 262.50 and Rs. 229.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40095.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.09% and 16.95% respectively.

Bandhan Bank has reported a fall of 20.52% in its net profit at Rs 517.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 650.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 50.72% at Rs 3346.47 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 2220.32 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the bank has reported a rise of 54.94% in its net profit at Rs 3023.74 crore as compared to Rs 1951.50 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 61.35% at Rs 12434.69 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7706.42 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
