BHEL gains on commissioning 270 MW Thermal power plant in Telangana

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 31.25, up by 0.55 points or 1.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 31.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.40 and Rs. 30.55 respectively. So far 5132995 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 75.50 on 27-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.20 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.40 and Rs. 26.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10846.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.17% and 9.66% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has successfully commissioned one 270 MW thermal unit at the 4x270 MW Bhadradri Thermal Power Project in Telangana. Located at Manuguru in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana, the project was awarded to BHEL by Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO). Notably, this is the first unit to be commissioned at this project and work on the balance three units is also in an advanced stage.
