Bank of Maharashtra reports 20% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Bank of Maharashtra has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The bank has reported a 20.46% fall in its net profit of Rs 57.57 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 72.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 1.19% at Rs 3198.30 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 3160.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a 20.08% fall in its net profit of Rs 57.59 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 72.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 1.20% at Rs 3198.52 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 3160.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the bank has reported net profit of Rs 388.58 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 4783.88 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 6.03% at Rs 13144.67 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12397.06 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported net profit of Rs 389.32 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 4783.05 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 6.03% at Rs 13145.76 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12398.11 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
