VBC Industries gains on starting manufacturing activities at Kurnool plant

VBC Industries is currently trading at Rs. 6.45, up by 0.15 points or 2.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 6.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6.45 and Rs. 6.45 respectively. So far 1000 shares were traded on the counter.

VBC Industries has started manufacturing activities at its plant located at Dinnedevarapadu village, NH-7, Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh in September, 2012. The company had closed down the manufacturing activities at this plant from January 09, 2012 onwards.

The company has started the activities as the work relating to revamping of air pollution control system and modernization of the plant got completed. The board of directors at its meeting held on September 28, 2012 has taken the note of it.

VBC Industries is engaged in the manufacture of ferro alloys. The company is part of the VBC Group, an industrial conglomerate having interests in ferro alloys, deep sea fishing, marine food exports, and financial services.
