Bank of Maharashtra reports 25% rise in Q1

Bank of Maharashtra has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2020.

The bank has reported 24.58% rise in its net profit of Rs 101.02 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 81.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased 2.28% at Rs 3264.81 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 3191.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal improved to 10.93%, as compared to 17.90% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 4.10% in Q1FY21.
