Generic Engineering gains on bagging work orders worth Rs 101.95 crore

Generic Engineering Construction & Projects is currently trading at Rs. 55.50, up by 0.95 points or 1.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 54.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 52.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 58.80 and Rs. 52.30 respectively. So far 32857 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 89.95 on 13-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.00 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 58.80 and Rs. 51.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 235.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.85% and 40.65% respectively.

Generic Engineering Construction and Projects has been awarded with new work orders worth Rs 101.95 crore (excluding GST) for various institutional projects from various clients, which inter alia includes a project of Rs 30 crore (excluding GST) for construction of school from Aditya Birla Group.

With receipt of above, the total current outstanding order book stands at Rs 1,067.54 crore.
