South Indian Bank rises on the bourses

South Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 7.38, up by 0.04 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.34 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7.45 and Rs. 7.19 respectively. So far 3720090 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 12.47 on 24-Sep-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.85 on 27-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7.86 and Rs. 7.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1331.96 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 20.61% and Non-Institutions held 79.39 % respectively.

South Indian Bank is considering various options for raising funds through issuance of equity shares including but not limited through preferential issue and/ or Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP)/ Global Depository Receipts (GDRs)/ American Depository Receipts (ADRs)/ Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs)/ or any other methods on private placement basis, FPO, Rights Issue etc. subject to regulatory approvals, as may be required and borrowing/ raising funds in Indian foreign currency by issue of debt securities including but not limited to non-convertible debentures, bonds.
