Australia-based fund manager Platinum Investment Management has sold around 10 lakh shares of Vijay Mallya Group firm United Breweries Holding (UBHL) for Rs 13.15 crore. Platinum Investment Management, one of the shareholders of UBHL, has offloaded 9.96 lakh shares of the company on an average price of Rs 131.95.
Recently, the Australia based fund manager had pared its stake in UBHL with the sale of 3.27 percent holding in the company that lowered its stake to 5.87 percent.
UBHL’s business activities include manufacturing, market and export of alcoholic beverages, leather footwear, pharmaceutical products, agrochemicals and processed food. It also operates air transportation and engineering colleges through its subsidiaries.
