Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SwissRapide AG to bring Maglev trains (magnetic levitation) to India. The company is aimed at expanding its footprint in the urban transportation sector as part of its diversification initiatives. The MoU sets out the foundation to cooperate and explore mutually beneficial business opportunities, and to utilise both the companies' inherent capabilities, skills, knowledge and assets, with respect to the scope of Maglev Train projects in India.

Titan Company has entered into partnership with State Bank of India (SBI) to introduce a range of Titan Pay watches powered by YONO, the lender's mobile banking app. These watches will have contactless payment functions. With this launch, account holders of the bank can tap their Titan Pay watch on contactless payment point-of-sale (POS) machines without the need of swiping or inserting their debit card.

Marico has forayed into the traditional Ayurveda products through its popular brand Saffola. The company has introduced Saffola ImmuniVeda range in the healthy foods and immunity-boosting space, a segment which is witnessing a rapid growth led by the increased awareness and interest post-pandemic by the people. ABM Knowledgeware has bagged a recent order for Rs 127.44 crore (excluding Taxes) for SAP technology modernization. This project involves the technology upgrade of customers' existing SAP applications to the latest version and S4HANA implementation for all current applications. It also includes the implementation of several new SAP modules and productivity tools. The migration of the entire set-up to cloud infrastructure is also included in the project.

Yes Bank signed a Corporate Agency Agreement with SBI General Insurance Company for the distribution of retail products of SBI General for its corporate and retail customers. The products of SBI General will be offered to bank’s customers across 28 states and 8 Union Territories. This partnership will be committed to offering customers a broad range of non-life insurance products and services and deploying technology across the customer value chain to facilitate superior experiences for them.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories have agreed to cooperate on clinical trials and distribution of Sputnik V vaccine in India. Upon regulatory approval in India, RDIF shall supply to Dr. Reddy’s 100 million doses of the vaccine. The Sputnik V vaccine, which is based on well-studied human adenoviral vector platform with proven safety, is undergoing clinical trials for the coronavirus pandemic. Deliveries could potentially begin in late 2020 subject to completion of successful trials and registration of the vaccine by regulatory authorities in India.
