Fedders Lloyd bags contract worth $34.5 million in Power Distribution Sector in Africa

Fedders Lloyd Corporation has been awarded contract worth $34.5 million in Power Distribution Sector for Ethiopia Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO), funded by Government of Ethiopia. The project is for the supply of Distribution transformers and cables and other accessories.

With the securing of the above international orders, the company has secured total orders worth $53 million in Power Distribution sector in last 3 months, which is to be commissioned and implemented over a period of 24 months.

Earlier in August 28, 2012, the company has informed that in the area of Power Distribution, the company had bagged contract worth $18.58 million by the state owned, Power Holding Company of Nigeria Plc (PHCN), Nigeria for supply and installation of 330/132 KV and 132/33 KV sub-stations on turnkey basis, with World Bank being the funding agency.

The Company is also operating its business activities in other African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.

Fedders Lloyd Corporation is a part of $500 million Lloyd Group (Brij Raj Punj Group). It is into manufacturing of window air conditioners, split / ducatable air conditioners, packaged air conditioners, chillers, transport air conditioners, heat exchangers, etc.
