Ashok Leyland has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 146.67 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 38.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 28.09% at Rs 2,858.45 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 3,975.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to owner of Rs 122.95 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 44.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 24.28% at Rs 3,877.62 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 5,121.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
