Karur Vysya Bank slips on reporting marginal fall in total deposits in Q3

Karur Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 47.00, down by 0.25 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 47.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 47.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 47.25 and Rs. 46.50 respectively. So far 89854 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 59.00 on 07-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.15 on 27-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.00 and Rs. 45.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3740.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 2.11%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.65% and 56.24% respectively.

Karur Vysya Bank has reported 0.28% marginal fall in total deposits to Rs 62,090 crore (provisional) in Q3 December 2020 over Q3 December 2019. Out of the total deposits, CASA deposits grew 12.79% to Rs 21,501 crore.

The bank’s gross advances stood at Rs 52,103 crore (provisional) as of December 30, 2020, up 5.02% YoY as compared to Rs 49613 crore as of December 30, 2019 and Rs 48,516 crore as of March 31, 2020.

Karur Vysya Bank is among six old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
