DCB Bank gains despite reporting marginal fall in Q3 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 116.30, up by 0.50 points or 0.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 115.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 118.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 119.65 and Rs. 113.40 respectively. So far 88912 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 186.05 on 27-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.10 on 26-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 121.90 and Rs. 113.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3624.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 52.75% and 32.37% respectively.

The bank has reported 0.51% marginal fall in its net profit at Rs 96.21 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 96.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 3.33% at Rs 1,023.86 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 990.89 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal improved to 1.96%, as compared to 2.15% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.59% in Q3FY21.
