Bank of Baroda declined despite turning black in Q3

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 65.85, down by 8.00 points or 10.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 73.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 72.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.80 and Rs. 64.55 respectively. So far 6870956 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 94.20 on 29-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.05 on 20-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 77.35 and Rs. 64.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30380.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.62% and 12.79% respectively.

Bank of Baroda has reported a net profit at Rs 1,061.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 against net loss of Rs 1,406.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 5.25% at Rs 20,664.23 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 21,809.07 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a net profit of Rs 1,195.96 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 against net loss of Rs 1,219.04 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 4.60 % at Rs 22,070.52 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 23,134.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
